Airport Franz Josef Strauss

The Franz Josef Strauss Airport (MUC) is located 28 km northeast of Munich, Germany. It is one of the largest airports in Europe, serving over 47 million passengers per year.

The airport has two terminals, which are connected by a free shuttle bus. The terminals feature a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, as well as ATMs and currency exchange offices.

For passengers, taxi, bus, and train services are also available, connecting the airport to the center of Munich and other cities in Germany. Car rental services are also available at the airport.

The Franz Josef Strauss Airport is a hub for Lufthansa and Eurowings airlines, as well as a base for Air Dolomiti, Condor, SunExpress Deutschland, and TUI fly Deutschland airlines.
