How much baggage can you take with Emirates?
Hand luggage
Both business and economy class passengers are allowed to bring one piece of hand luggage on board the plane, weighing no more than 7 kilograms and with dimensions not exceeding 55*38*20 cm.
In addition to this, business class passengers can also bring a smaller bag on board, weighing up to 7 kg and with dimensions of 45*35*20 cm.
Checked baggage
The amount of checked baggage allowed depends on the ticket class, ranging from 20 to 35 kg in economy class and 40 to 50 kg in other cases.
The airline does not limit the passenger in terms of the number of baggage pieces, but the total weight should not exceed the limits mentioned above.
The sum of the dimensions of any baggage piece should not exceed 300 cm.
If you are flying in classes where the total allowed baggage weight is more than 30 kg, each piece should not weigh more than 32 kg. For example, in first class, you can bring 2 bags weighing 32 kg and 8 kg. However, you cannot check in baggage in first class consisting of two bags weighing 35 kg and 5 kg.
Excess baggage
The cost of excess baggage depends on the class you are flying in, as well as your status in the airline's loyalty program.
