The Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) is located 30 km southeast of the center of Amman, the capital of Jordan. The airport's coordinates are 35.98932 degrees north latitude and 31.722534 degrees east longitude.
QAIA is the largest airport in Jordan and serves over 7 million passengers per year. The airport was opened in 1983 and was named after Queen Alia, the wife of King Hussein.
