Airport Ataturk

The Ataturk Airport (IST) is located in the European part of Istanbul, 24 km away from the city center. It is the largest airport in Turkey and one of the busiest in the world. In 2018, the airport was closed for passenger flights, and all flights were transferred to the new Istanbul Airport (IST).

The Ataturk Airport had four terminals serving both international and domestic flights. The airport had numerous shops, restaurants, and cafes, as well as ATMs, currency exchange, and free Wi-Fi.

For transportation between the airport and the city, various modes of transport were available, such as metro, buses, taxis, and private transfers. The metro was the most convenient and fastest way to reach the city center.
