Hand Luggage
In all cases, the weight of each piece of hand luggage must not exceed 8 kilograms, and the sum of the three dimensions must be 113 cm. The only difference is between economy and business class: in economy, you can bring one piece of hand luggage on board, while in business class, you can bring two.
Checked Baggage
In economy class, you can check one to two pieces of baggage weighing up to 23 kg each. In business class, you can check two pieces weighing 32 kg each, and in first class, you can check three such pieces of baggage. The company also has updated European tariffs, according to which:
- With the Light tariff, only hand luggage is allowed, and all baggage is subject to a fee;
- With the Classic and Flex tariffs, one piece of baggage weighing up to 23 kg is allowed;
- With the Business tariff, two pieces of baggage weighing up to 32 kg each are allowed.
Excess Baggage
On flights within Germany, you will have to pay 15 euros on the website or 30 euros at the check-in counter or 55 euros at the boarding gate. The amount is the same, but it varies depending on the payment location. The most cost-effective option is to pay on the website.
