Airport Berlin-Schoenefeld

The Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport (SXF) is located 18 km southeast of the center of Berlin. It is one of the two international airports in Berlin (the other being Berlin-Tegel). In 2020, the airport was renamed Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER), but the name Schoenefeld is still used for Terminal T5.

The Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport was opened in 1934 and has since been modernized and expanded multiple times. It currently serves over 13 million passengers per year.

The airport has one terminal, which is divided into zones A, B, C, and D. Zone A is for EasyJet and Ryanair airlines, zone B is for Wizz Air and Pegasus airlines, zone C is for Germanwings and Eurowings airlines, and zone D is for Air Berlin and Lufthansa airlines.
