Airport Bandaranaike International

The Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) is located in Katunayake, 35 km north of the capital city of Sri Lanka, Colombo. It is the largest airport in the country, serving over 9 million passengers per year.

Bandaranaike International Airport has one terminal, which is divided into two zones: the arrival zone and the departure zone. The terminal features numerous shops, restaurants, and cafes, as well as ATMs, currency exchange, and a post office.

Bandaranaike International Airport serves multiple airlines, including SriLankan Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Air India, Singapore Airlines, and many others. It is also a hub for SriLankan Airlines.

For transportation between the airport and the city of Colombo, passengers have access to taxis, buses, and trains. Taxis can be ordered at the airport or in advance through the internet. Buses and trains are also available at the airport, but they may be inconvenient for passengers with a large amount of luggage.
