Airport Macedonia International

The Macedonia International Airport (SKG) is located in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is situated 16 km southeast of the city center and serves both domestic and international flights. The airport was opened in 1930 and has since been modernized and expanded. It is currently the second largest airport in Greece after Athens Airport. Macedonia International Airport has one terminal, which serves over 6 million passengers per year. The terminal features numerous shops, restaurants, cafes, as well as ATMs and currency exchange services. The airport serves flights from over 30 airlines, including Aegean Airlines, Ryanair, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, and others.
