The Baghdad International Airport (BGW) is located 16 km west of Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. It is the largest airport in Iraq and serves both domestic and international flights.
The airport was opened in 1982 and has since undergone multiple renovations. It currently has two runways and terminals for passengers and cargo.
