Airport Baghdad International

The Baghdad International Airport (BGW) is located 16 km west of Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. It is the largest airport in Iraq and serves both domestic and international flights.

The airport was opened in 1982 and has since undergone multiple renovations. It currently has two runways and terminals for passengers and cargo.

The airport features several cafes and restaurants, shops, ATMs, and currency exchange points. Free Wi-Fi is also available.

Passengers have access to services such as baggage storage, car rental, taxis, and public transportation.

Baghdad International Airport serves flights from many airlines, including Iraqi Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, and others.
