Airport Southern

The South Airport (South Airport named after Islam Karimov) is located in the southern part of the city of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The coordinates of the airport are 69.26619 (longitude) and 41.262714 (latitude).

The South Airport is one of the two international airports in Tashkent (the other being Tashkent Airport). It was opened in 1967 and has since been repeatedly modernized and expanded.

The South Airport has one terminal that serves both international and domestic flights. Over 2 million passengers pass through the airport annually.

The South Airport serves flights of many airlines, including Uzbekistan Airways, Turkish Airlines, Aeroflot, Air Astana, Flydubai, S7 Airlines, and others. The airport has several cafes and restaurants, shops, ATMs and currency exchange points, as well as free Wi-Fi.
