Airport Sabiha Gokcen

The Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) is located in the Asian part of Istanbul, 35 km away from the city center. It was opened in 2001 and named after Turkey's first female aviator, Sabiha Gokcen.

The Sabiha Gokcen Airport serves over 30 airlines, including Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Ryanair, Wizz Air, and others. It handles more than 30 million passengers annually.

The airport has two terminals: international and domestic. The terminals offer a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, as well as ATMs, currency exchange, and free Wi-Fi.

For transportation from Sabiha Gokcen Airport to the center of Istanbul, passengers can use buses, taxis, or private transfers. Car rental services are also available at the airport.
