Airport Rinas Mother Teresa

The Rinas Mother Teresa Airport (TIA) is located 17 km northwest of the city center of Tirana, the capital of Albania. The coordinates of the airport are 19.71328, 41.419132.

The airport was opened in 1957 and named after Mother Teresa, a Catholic missionary who was born in Skopje, now the capital of North Macedonia, but spent most of her life in India.

The Rinas Mother Teresa Airport serves both international and domestic flights. Over 2 million passengers pass through it annually. The airport has one terminal, which was opened in 2007 and covers an area of 22,000 square meters.

The Rinas Mother Teresa Airport has several cafes and restaurants, shops, ATMs, currency exchange offices, a pharmacy, a medical center, a VIP lounge, and free Wi-Fi. There is also a parking lot with 600 parking spaces at the airport.
