Airport Koh Samui

The Koh Samui Airport (Samui International Airport) is located on the island of Samui in Thailand. The airport's coordinates are 100.0628 degrees east longitude and 9.555315 degrees north latitude.

The airport was opened in 1989 and has since become one of the most popular tourist airports in Thailand. Over 3 million passengers pass through it annually.

Koh Samui Airport serves both domestic and international flights. Among the airlines that fly to the airport are Bangkok Airways, Thai Airways, AirAsia, SilkAir, Hong Kong Airlines, and others.

The airport has several terminals where passengers can avail of various services such as cafes, shops, ATMs, currency exchange, etc. There is also free Wi-Fi available at the airport.

There are several options for transporting passengers from the airport to the city and vice versa: taxis, buses, and motorcycles for rent. The cost of a taxi depends on the destination but averages around 500-600 baht. Buses depart every 30 minutes and cost around 50-100 baht. Motorcycles can be rented on the airport premises.
