Airport Durban International

The Durban International Airport (DUR) is located in the city of Durban, South Africa. It serves both domestic and international flights. The airport was opened in 1951 and has since been modernized and expanded. In 2010, the new King Shaka International Airport was opened, replacing Durban International as the main airport in Durban. However, Durban International is still used for some flights.

The Durban International Airport has one terminal that handles both arrivals and departures. The terminal features shops, restaurants, cafes, ATMs, and currency exchange services. There is also free Wi-Fi throughout the airport.

For transportation between the airport and the city, taxis and buses are available. Taxis can be booked in the arrivals area, and buses depart from the terminal every 30 minutes.

The Durban International Airport is located 16 km from the city center of Durban. The travel time by taxi or bus is approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
