Baggage and Hand Luggage Allowance on Bulgaria Air

Hand Luggage

Regardless of the class or fare chosen for your journey, the hand luggage allowance is the same. Passengers are allowed to bring one piece of luggage on board, weighing no more than 10 kg, with a total of three dimensions not exceeding 113 cm.

Checked Baggage

The total of three dimensions for each piece of checked baggage must not exceed 158 cm. In the economy class, passengers are allowed to check one piece of baggage weighing up to 23 kg. If the business class is chosen, passengers have the option of:

• checking one piece of baggage weighing up to 32 kg;
• checking two pieces of baggage, each weighing no more than 23 kg.

There are economy class fares that do not include free checked baggage allowance.

Excess Baggage

For domestic flights, there is a fee of 20 euros for exceeding the weight limit and 30 euros for exceeding the size limit.

For international flights, the cost of exceeding the weight limit is 50 euros, and for exceeding the size limit, it is 70 euros.

Traveling with a Child

Infants who are not yet 8 days old at the time of the flight departure are not allowed to travel. A discount is provided for purchasing a ticket for a child, the amount of which is determined by the destination and the date of ticket purchase.

Each child is allowed one baggage allowance.
