Canadair CRJ 100

Aircraft Information Canadair CRJ 100

Canadair CRJ 100 is a narrow-body regional aircraft developed and produced by the Canadian company Canadair (now Bombardier Aerospace). It was based on the Challenger 600 model and first flew in 1991.

The aircraft has two General Electric CF34-3A1 turbofan engines, each with a thrust of 41.0 kN. The maximum speed is 870 km/h, and the maximum range is 3,056 km. Depending on the cabin configuration, the aircraft can accommodate from 50 to 70 passengers.

The Canadair CRJ 100 has been replaced by the more modern CRJ 200 model, which has more efficient engines and improved avionics. However, some CRJ 100 aircraft are still used as regional aircraft.

The most comfortable and safe places on the plane

Like in most narrow-body aircraft, the most comfortable and safest seats in the Canadair CRJ 100 are located in the front of the cabin. The seats in the first rows have more legroom and provide a better view. It is also recommended to choose seats near the cabin exits as they usually have more legroom and faster access to the exits in case of an emergency. However, it is worth considering that seats near the exits may be less comfortable due to limited space for storing carry-on baggage under the seat. It is also advisable to avoid seats near the back wall of the cabin as they may be noisier and have limited legroom.
