Airport Fagali I

The Fagali I Airport is located in Apia, the capital of Samoa. Its coordinates are -171.73334 -13.833333. The airport was opened in 1959 and is only 5 km away from the city center. It serves domestic flights within Samoa and regular flights to Tonga. In 2002, the airport was closed due to security issues, but it was reopened in 2009 after reconstruction. Currently, the Fagali I Airport is one of the two main airports in Samoa, with the other being the Faleolo Airport.
